Pluro can be installed through a website template, a tag manager, or platform-specific integration instructions. Use the embed code issued for your licensed account rather than copying a potentially outdated example from an old article.
Choose an installation route
- Plain HTML: Install Pluro on a Plain HTML Site.
- WordPress: Install Pluro on WordPress (Theme header.php).
- Shopify: Install Pluro on Shopify.
- Google Tag Manager: Install Pluro via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Other platforms: available guides include Webflow, Wix, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, and Squarespace.
Basic checklist
- Back up the site and identify the correct licensed domain.
- Get the current authorized script from MyPluro.
- Install it through an approved template, CMS setting, or tag manager.
- Clear relevant caches and publish the site or tag-manager container.
- Verify script loading in browser developer tools and test expected behavior.
Security and compatibility
- Review Content Security Policy requirements with the site owner.
- If your setup uses Subresource Integrity, verify the exact hash against the file being delivered.
- Avoid modifying parent theme files when a supported header-injection approach is available.
- Test staging separately when supported.
Product verification before publication: Some current platform articles include a generic script URL. Confirm the account-specific installation snippet, SRI policy, and CMS plugin recommendations before publication.
