Purpose

The Dev/Stage env tab provides a field for a development environment URL so teams can test accessibility fixes and toolbar behavior before deploying to production.

Configure the environment

Open the website configuration, select Dev/Stage env, enter the complete development environment URL in Link to dev environment, and choose Save.

Testing workflow

Install the appropriate Pluro script on the testing environment as required. Compare fixes in staging with production, exercise keyboard and assistive-technology flows, and confirm that the application’s navigation and dynamic behavior are not broken.

Safety considerations

Avoid exposing confidential staging content. Confirm that the staging URL and any production/preview licensing assumptions match the current account settings.

Product documentation note: Review permission settings, current account functionality and the actual result before applying changes to a customer website.
